Local Singles, a new musical
Nick Navari’s new pop-fueled musical is off to a rip-roaring start in the US. The musical was pro-shot as a feature film from inside the New Hazlett Theater, and Navari was awarded a grant for a full production through the National Endowment for the Arts, a residency at the theater, and named Pittsburgh’s Community Supported Artist for the 2020-2021 season.
Into Your Hands
Navari’s original play Into Your Hands was selected out of over 300 script submissions to make it’s national debut in the Pittsburgh New Works Festival at Duquesne University - September 2021
Fan Nation
Wrote the original soundtrack and theme song to the EMMY Nominated Fan Nation, a show that airs weekly on CBS and The CW. Navari also served as Music Correspondent, where he would write and produce a running segment which involved creating and recording an original song each week about something topical in the world of sports, shooting and starring in the music video, airing it on Saturday, then repeating the whole process over again.
Dear Pittsburgh,
Shot at the beginning of the pandemic across 28 iconic Pittsburgh locations, this video tribute to his hometown quickly spread around the city thanks to the support of dozens of legendary Pittsburgh institutions.
Urban Dinosaur
In the year 2000, 100 dinosaur statues were commissioned for the city of Pittsburgh. 20 years later, Navari decided to make the 101st. The short film Urban Dinosaur followed the journey, from creation to installment.
